Meet Murrin

Hi, I’m Murrin Moffett, and horses have been my passion for as long as I can remember. From my earliest days in the saddle to competing at some of the country’s top horse shows, I’ve dedicated my life to the sport and to sharing that passion with others.

Throughout my competitive career, I had the privilege of training and competing under the guidance of renowned hunter/jumper trainer Louise Serio as well as Chrissy Serio. My years riding with Louise gave me a strong foundation in horsemanship, sportsmanship, and the attention to detail that continues to shape my teaching philosophy today. The experience of competing at a high level taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and building true partnerships with horses—lessons I now pass on to every student.

I also would not be here without the training, patience and love of my longtime trainer, Rachael.  She gave the me the fundamental skills that I have  today and I can't thank her enough.  

Today, I am proud to offer a family-friendly riding program on Philadelphia’s Main Line where riders of all ages and experience levels feel welcome. Whether you’re stepping into the stirrups for the very first time, looking to improve your skills, or dreaming of competing in the show ring, my goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where every rider can thrive.

I believe that horseback riding teaches far more than equitation. It builds confidence, responsibility, perseverance, and respect for both horses and people. Every lesson is tailored to the individual rider, helping each student develop solid fundamentals while having fun and celebrating their progress along the way.

Our program welcomes riders ages 4 and up and offers instruction from beginner through competitive show riders. We are committed to creating a safe, encouraging atmosphere where families become part of our barn community and students develop skills and friendships that last a lifetime.

Watching my students achieve their goals—whether it’s posting the trot for the first time, jumping a new height, or earning ribbons in the show ring—is the most rewarding part of what I do. I look forward to sharing my experience, my love of horses, and the joy of riding with every family that joins our program.
